Biography[]
Ikezawa was born in Athens, Greece.[2] Her father is Ikezawa Natsuki, a poet, novelist, essayist, and translator. Her paternal grandparents are Fukunaga Takehiko and Harajō Akiko; Takehiko was a poet and novelist, and Akiko was a poet as well.
Ikezawa was formerly affiliated with 81 Produce and Oscar Promotion,[3] but as of 2014, she is affiliated with Across Entertainment.[1] Her major roles in anime include: Gō Seiba in Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!!, Haruna Hiroko in Hamtaro, Yoshino Shimazu in Maria-sama ga Miteru, and Momoka Nishizawa in Sgt. Frog. In video games, she has voiced Athena Asamiya in King of Fighters since 1998, and voiced Coco Bandicoot in the PlayStation games for the Crash Bandicoot series.
Macne Series[]
Ikezawa came up with the idea of the Macne series back in 2009, pointing out in her regular column, "天声姫語 Vox Reginae, Vox Dei", carried in the magazine, Mac Fan, by Mainichi Communications, that no voice synthesizers existed for the Macintosh operating system at the time.[4]
